Internal Struggle

How many a times have our hands and brains been fighting... Almost constatly! whereby reality of food/poverty and dreams (i.e. model, artistis) were never aligned and we spent almost all of our life chasing and talking dreams, without ever realising/doing it.

The struggle get even harder when we get older whereby committement becomes heavier and the burden we are carrying lots heavier...

How often do we admire those who pluck up the courage to forgo everything he/she has to persue the dreams he/she holds....**thinking that he/she must be mad to let everything go** and only to regret after awhile why i didnt do the same when that same person came back successful...

It all abt WHAT IFs?? 2 words, with deep impact to our lives... A never ending struggle? Maybe... but ultimately, be happy cos you cant have best of both worlds!

Happy New year to all.. And a belated Xmas greetings too! haha..

Apologies to the late greetings, but Bugs been tied down by so many things on hand, that 24 hrs is hardly enough for me. Work, Sleep (plenty) and to catch up with frenz and family seems to be occupying all my time, and not to mention......

Just came back from sailing over the new year. haha.. wat a way to end the year with a trip to no mans land whereby i was out with the Navy on a sailing trip. Exciting as it was my very first, but equally tiring as well as im not used to the sea and the "rocky feeling" that one experienced when your out in the sea. "hands-down" to sailors who live in the sea on a daily basis. I guess you either hate it or love it. =p

So 2005 came to a close and another chapter begins in my life. Going to be 27 this year. hmm.. Another year closer to 3o, more white hair growing and hopefully more matured and more charming** haha....

So what happened in 2005? Hmm... reflecting back, there was plenty of achievements and many misfortunes: (shall list down the significant ones for memories purposes) **Now the dairy comes in handy for reflection purposes**

Jan 05 - The significant/highlight for the month was Bug's involvement in the Tsumani relief mission in Indonesia

Feb 05 - short 28 days: nothing to highlight.

March 05 - Earthquake hit P.Nias and Bug was sent to Indonesia again

April 05 - It has to be the "sound of music" and Bug starting his Malay course. Selamat Pagi. lastly, Bug took up blading and walked on wheels..... (seems like a hectic month)

May 05 - Star wars!!! the much awaited Episode III to bring a closure to the series. Fantastic! A trip to Bangkok was a well deserved break! (I guessed this was the first time i saw PQ too!)

June 05 - Runway Cycling

July 05 - Bug's Malay exams which he eventually passed!! mid year Bonus!!

Aug 05 - Batam relaxing trip.. woo... haha..... paying of road tax and insurance. :( **broke mth

Sept 05 - Bug's hatch day, though not many gifts. **sob sob** also 9-11 anniversary. wow.. Officers mess promotion gala, though i wasnt in the list. **sob sob** = not so good mth. haha..

Oct 05 - Base dinner.. Bug's in china wear. start of hell mth as most colleagues went down under for exercise.

Nov 05 - Equally hell as Bug had to oversee most stuff. 03 Nov was sweet, while "rent" wasnt that fantastic afterall.

Dec 05 - Fat Bonus!! horray... Watch "ChestNut", starring Hossen Leong., which was funny. Rld got married too.

So that summed up my 2005...... and looking forward to a wonderful 2006.
