The only thing i did today

ATTEND MEETINGS

Yeap... Thats the only one thing i did today. From 0800 Hrs ---- 1800Hrs(Thats 10 hours!) OMG

And thats only 2 meetings, with a 15 mins lunch break in between as i was too hungry to carry on.

And my "air time"in both meetings can account for less than 1 hr. haha.. which means close to 9 hours is spent listening (and prehaps yawning and the occasional sms to keep myself awake!)

What an efficient day, when i can only check my mails at 6pm! (Only to find it being flooded again! haha) Seems like this is a lose-lose battle...

What a way to start the week again... BLUES....

M.I.D.W.E.E.K

Sigh.. Its only midweek.. Time is really passing by slowly for this week..

Just got back home after a nice meal in town and had a wonderful time chatting. Luckily the carpark wasnt that full today.Hmm.. I wonder why, when its usually fully packed by now... Guess people were out having fun, when there were still a crowd in town on a Wed nite! Hmmm.. could there be something ongoing which had eluded me..

Anyway.. Life been tough without boss. Away for another 5 more weeks. Starting to feel the strain and pressure in having to cover his duties while he is having his fun. Damn... when will it be my (AND Rightfuly MINE) turn to be take a break. haha... Guess no point complaining except to bit the bullet and endure through times like this. haha...

Hmm... nothing interesting to highlight today. The usuals stuff at work. (3 hrs meetings... answers call.... get scolding .... scolding ppl... haha.. part and parcel of life.. isnt it)

May the weekend comes quickly.. =p

27 hrs of work and stilll counting.....

Started the Monday at 7.30 am in the morning for our usual Monday's briefs.. sigh... (who on earth decided that briefings must be done on Monday's!).. and thats probably how Monday blues originate from. =)

From then on, its work and more work till now... calculated that i worked 27 hours since then and im still feeling fresh! damn.. im getting inhumane or im becoming a real workaholic!

Just got home not long ago. Mentally wise, im completely drained, but im not sleepy yet. but shall force myself to nap after this cos i have to get back to office at 1530 for a meeting. haha... talk about being highly paid.. guess if you divide it out with the working hours and flexible schedule i have, think im probably lower paid than a maid. haha... enough of complaints.. haha...

Shall take a nap before i return to office. Its good Tuesday.. Bowling nite!

A bug's lousy work schedule..

H8 gathering

Back from dinner with the old Hall mates.. And its really nice to catch up with some of them, which I havent seen for awhile. Wowo... It was sure funny bringing up all the old jokes and adventures that we had. Some of which were new to me, while some remain as classic and part of my uni life... We definitely had a good laugh.

It was dinner at "De Grandeur Restaurant" off Stadium Walk, Kallang Theatre, which was where I watched my first ever theatre play "Miss Saigon" at. A place where there were fond memories and equally miserable ones... Well, I must say, the place hasnt changed much since I last went there years ago... The red carpet leading up to the theatre still remains... =p

The Buffet dinner was normal. Not something unique considering the price we paid. Well, they said Im picky.. haha... well.. which I must admit I am when it comes to dining.. For that price, could have gone for a fabulous Jap food meal! haha..

But it was certainly nice to meet some of the old hall mates and I do appreciate forums like these where we can catch up on the good old times and rekindle the fire we used to share. Kudos to those who came today! I definitely enjoyed myself.. =) See ya soon!!

Not that im on leave, but im on night shift today.. Haha... And thats bcos "deerp" is leaving for australia this sun and there is a need to shift the working cycle!

Friday nite shift means... I cant be out a FRIDAY nite.. OH manz... I will be spending the sat at home resting.. OH manz... lugi man...

Enough complaining, but i dont mind to be working on night shift once in awhile as i get the quiet time at work to do all my work, clear my outstanding mails and get uninterupted. No "fire fighting" today. wee.....

Hmmm.. how shall i spend this beautiful morning??
Shall think about it!

Quotes for this week.

A So-So Sunday

Me today: " Still awaiting for a sign" ... can't help thinking.. Will there be a sign?

Start.....
Woke up in the wee hours this morning as i slept pretty early last nite.. It was 5.30 when i woke.. Dunno why i was awaken as there wasnt any noise at home too. But since im awake, i went online and had a cup of drink before i head back to bed! Silly isnt it...

Finally got out of bed at 8am for my usual regular exercise in ECP. Traffic was smooth as most people are probably still in bed as the weather was cooling too! haha... Took another route and went past the church i used to go and felt remorseful. *Shake head* (My heart is telling me that i should follow ""him"" to church soon... It was really nice of him to follow the way of God and hope that he too find eternal love in God.)

It was windy in ECP as a storm was coming. We could feel the south west monsoon wind hitting on our face as we rested in bedok jetty. *Kinna Shiok, but also scary as we are afraid that we can't find shelter if the rain do hit us* By then the wind was gusting real heavy and each stride becomes harder and more tiring as we blade our way back.. Thank goodness that we made our way back to Mac.. but by then.. my shin is already hurting.. haha....

Came back home after lunch with the guys and gers and finally completed the entire season I of the Desperate Housewife. Can't wait for season II to start. Read my book "Rules of work" but fell asleep after 3 pages... damn lousy.. (Either im damn tired or the book is damn boring... I chose the former!)

Watching football now in my room and waiting for the match between Pools and Chelsea.. Will my fav beat them this time??

A bug's life...

Sat Update

Missed Adrian Bday party last nite as i wasnt in a clubbing mood. Mind still unease and wild thoughts flashing all over. sigh.. Wat must i do? Wat is my plan.. Sit and wait? I have no plan... Im completely helpless over what my next move is. In fact, my mind is going crazy.

Decided that the best move now is to get out of home and enjoy myself in order to stop this mind bogging game. Met Joe for lunch and caught a show. I wanted to catch "Cinderella Man" but he is more interested in "Corpse Bride" as he is a Tim Burton fan.

Having watch his last 2 hits in "Big Fish", "CATCF", As for i dont mind catching his works again as his style of chorography is pretty unique.

@@Background to the show@@
Set in a 19th century European village, this stop-motion, animated feature follows the story of Victor, a young man who is whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride, while his real bride, Victoria, waits bereft in the land of the living. Although life in the Land of the Dead proves to be a lot more colorful than his strict Victorian upbringing, Victor learns that there is nothing in this world, or the next, that can keep him away from his one true love

Although its an anime, Tim Burton paid much attention to the details in each character and i must say, it not bad after all. Though not as funny as "The Incredible", this show has got the typical style of Tim in the "gloomy settings" that he usually creates after upheaval in his personal life in the death of his patents and his r/s with his wife.

Well, guys... Though this is a short film, but something nice to watch if you have nothing else to catch!
