Kukup, the Fishing Village
On 23 and 24 Feb, siya and Jeanno went on a trip to Kukup together with the rest of the guys and gers from hall. It was really fun considering that I haven't taken a holiday for almost a year. Special thanks must be given to Corr for organising this mini-get away and all the hassle she went through in the coordination and buying the snacks for all of us to ensure that we were well fed.

Although the house was big, with 6 rooms in total and 5 toilets, there was nothing much to entertain us, unless you are a big time karaoke fan. Our neighbours certainly had fun with the KTV, but most of us just weren't and we suffered along with it. So we ended playing MJ the whole day, a game Jeanno certainly excels in. You can never believe how lucky she is and won enough money from myself and Joe to cover the cost of the trip.. **pui**
Most of our meals were seafood in nature which isn't the best for health. Think our cholesterol level went up after the trip that we have to avoid seafood for the next month. We concluded the 2 day trip with a short tour of the fishing village where we were bought to a kelong that rear fishes. Pretty exciting and soon after, we were on our way back to Singapore. The returned journey took us about 2 hours to Bishan. As expected, we were all tired after the trip and most of us were napping on the bus back home. Dunno when my next holiday will be.. hopefully soon enough to keep me blogging.
Well, I must say I was expecting myself to stay in those wooden kelongs that you normally see on film, but to my surprise, and pleasantly so, we were nicely accommodated in a newly constructed house. Yes, one that is made from concrete, had air condition and proper sanitary facilities. This was certainly not what I expected from the very beginning.
