A tribute to Mr Wee

Looking at the ST today, the most eye-catching article would be the death of our former Prez, Mr Wee. The were many reports from the radios and newspaper about how good Mr Wee has been during his tour of duty, describing him as a people's president. However, it was sad that i never had the chance to witness meeting or talking to him.

Thinking back, the only memory I had of Mr Wee was the annual National Day Parade that I get to watch on tv. I can vividly remember that big smile across his face and him waving to the audience as he was brought round the stadium in the jeep.

Well... it time to say farewell to the man we all love. May we continue to remember him in our hearts.
